why medical refrigeration?
Regular refrigerators can not provide the stable temperatures required for medical use, they typically operate between -2 to +12°C. Medical and pharmacy refrigerators adhere to standards set by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and operate from +2 to +8°C. (Ward refrigerators maintain between +1 to +5°C, )
If vaccines were to be stored in domestic refrigeration and then ruined, most insurance companies may not pay compensation. Even worse, the results of your clinical trials could be in inaccurate.
Locks are fitted as standard on most medical refrigeration for security, they also have forced air cooling and are fully compliant with the latest food hygiene regulations.
